Inspired by themes on the Bay, five sculptures slowly rotate over an infinity-edged fountain, changing form from shark fin, sail, regatta, bird wing, wave, feathers, gills and more. The sculpture has become the icon and central gathering place of the town.

At the entry corner of Soluna Apartments, a low-income housing development by the City of Phoenix, the artwork plaza becomes a community gathering spot and a place to learn about our place in the world. A star is imbedded in the earthen plaza showing the location of Phoenix. 360 children's artwork about the sun, moon and solar system is displayed on eight plaques as well as in the evening light show on the arcing 24-foot sculpture.

A twelve-foot egret is taking flight. Beneath them, concrete boulders allow for seating while awaiting boat rides. To encourage kids of all ages to learn about amazing birds in the Everglades, a plaque with descriptions is accompanied by twenty birds in silhouette along a "flight path," creating an identification game.
